  • Neon Database — cloud database storage (USA)
  • OpenAI — AI coaching features (USA). Your financial data is sent to OpenAI to generate coaching responses. OpenAI does not use this data to train its models under the API terms.

All providers are based in the United States. If you are located in the UK or EU, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US. We use providers with appropriate data protection commitments in place.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including:

  • Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing — your actual password is never stored
  • All data in transit is protected using TLS/HTTPS encryption
  • Database data is encrypted at rest by our database provider (Neon)
  • Authentication uses secure JSON Web Tokens (JWT)

7. Cookies

FinaviHub uses cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. A cookie consent notice is displayed when you first visit the site. By accepting, you agree to our use of cookies. You can adjust cookie settings in your browser at any time.
